We are citizens appalled by the impact of corporate greed and political corruption. Although the challenges we face may seem daunting, we are uniting and mobilizing to help protect people’s well-being and the sustainability of our planet.

Who we are.

We are a diverse group, and among us are parents, grandparents, current and former elected officials, faith leaders, active-duty military officers, journalists, grocery store workers, professors, cashiers, business owners, physicians, scientists, police officers, farmers, doctors, electricians, teachers, truck drivers, nurses, high school and college students, and many more.

What do we believe in?

  • We believe in democracy and the rule of law.

    We oppose authoritarianism.

  • We believe public service should be in the best interest of the American people.

We oppose high-ranking government officials and their immediate family members from holding, buying, or selling stocks. This includes the US President, the Vice President, Supreme Court justices, Congress members, Governors, Lieutenant Governors, State Attorneys General, members of the US Cabinet, US Ambassadors, and Assistants and Senior Advisors of the President and Governors.

  • We believe in economic and social equality.

We oppose wasteful spending of tax funds, cuts in programs that many Americans desperately need, unprecedented income inequality, the current cap on taxable income that favors the ultra-rich, and trillions of dollars in compensation and tax breaks for the wealthiest people in our country.

  • We believe in the 30 rights and freedoms outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

We oppose policies and practices denying equal human rights to anyone in any part of the world, regardless of their circumstances.

What are we asking of our elected officials?

  • Affordable housing
Every American should have access to quality, affordable homes. New Hampshire is estimated to need an additional 60,000 units by 2030 and 90,000 units by 2040.
Low home inventory is contributing to the increased housing prices and rental costs.

We want our elected officials to address the housing crisis and build more affordable housing units.

  • Livable wage
Every American worker deserves to earn a decent, livable income. A minimum hourly wage of $7.25 keeps hard-working Americans impoverished.

Nearly 100,000 Granite Staters live in poverty, with one in four households earning less than $50,000 per year and about one in six earning less than $35,000 per year. Tragically, low wages, inadequate tenant protections, and lack of job security have forced many people to be “working homeless.”

We want our elected officials to increase the minimum wage, create good-paying jobs, and make it easier for workers to join unions.

  • Quality education
Every American child deserves a quality education system.

We want elected officials to ensure everyone can access debt-free childcare, grade school, vocational training, and college.

  • Adequate healthcare
    Every American deserves
to see a doctor when sick and not be burdened with medical bills.

We want our elected officials to make healthcare a “service” and not a for-profit business that makes millions for private insurance companies.

  • Healthy environment
Every American deserves clean air, pure water, and a healthy environment. Americans are suffering from floods in Kentucky, tropical storms in West Virginia, fires in California, hurricanes in North Carolina, droughts in New Mexico, and endless days of over 100-degree temperatures in Arizona.

We want our elected officials to hold the fossil fuel industry accountable for their greed and protect public lands to heal our soils, forests, lakes, and prairies.
